Shove Off! Privacy Policy
Effective date: 30 October 2026 · Covers both editions: Shove Off! 2 Player Kids Game (free, with ads; Android package com.tapvibegames.shoveoff) and Shove Off+ 2 Player Kids Game (paid, no ads; com.tapvibegames.shoveoff.plus).
In short: we (the makers of Shove Off!) do not collect, receive or share any personal information, in either edition. There are no accounts, no in-app purchases, no chat and no links out of the game.
- Plus (paid): no ads, and no internet permission at all, so nothing can leave your device.
- Free: shows a short ad between some matches, never during play. Ads come from Google AdMob, set up for children: no personalised ads, no advertising ID, and only ads rated for everyone. To show an ad, Google receives basic technical information described below.
Who we are
Shove Off! is made by TapVibe Games (“we”). You can reach us at support@tapvibegames.com.
Information the game keeps on your device (both editions)
To remember your progress, the game saves the following in your device’s local storage:
- levels reached, stars, sparkles and which mochi you have unlocked;
- settings (sound, music, calm motion, vibration, match length) and which story scenes you have already seen;
- a short local play log (for example “level started” or “result viewed”) that helps the grown-up in charge understand how the game is played. To tell play sessions apart it uses a random number that the game makes up on the device; it contains no names, contact details, location, hardware or advertising identifiers.
This information never leaves the device. We cannot see it, and nobody else can either. It is not copied to cloud backups. If you move to a new phone with Android’s direct phone-to-phone transfer, your progress may come along.
Ads in the free edition
The free edition uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to show:
- a full-screen ad at some breaks between matches (never during play, never when the game starts, at most one every few minutes), introduced by an “Ad break” card so children can tell it apart from the game;
- one small banner on the map and result screens (never during play).
Every ad request is marked as coming from a children’s app (“child-directed treatment” and “under the age of consent”), and asks only for ads rated for general audiences (G). With these settings Google does not show personalised (interest-based) ads or remarketing. The game also does not have permission to read the Android advertising ID.
To choose, show and measure an ad and to prevent fraud, Google’s SDK sends Google basic technical information: the device’s IP address (which can suggest a general location), device and app information such as the device model, operating system and an app-specific identifier, and how the ad was seen or tapped, plus diagnostics. We never receive this information. Google handles it under its own policies: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google Privacy Policy. Information about Google’s practices for child-directed ad requests is in AdMob’s guidance on child-directed treatment.
Without an internet connection the free edition plays exactly the same, just without ads. To avoid ads entirely, use the Plus edition.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice, contacts, location, device or advertising identifiers, or any other personal information, in either edition. We do not use analytics services or crash reporters. The only third-party software that sends any information is Google’s ads SDK in the free edition, as described above.
Children
Shove Off! is designed for children (about 6 to 10 years old) and their families. The game itself collects no personal information. In the free edition, ads are requested with Google’s settings for children’s apps described above. The grown-ups settings are behind a simple number puzzle so that children don’t change them by accident.
Permissions
- Both editions: “vibrate”, used only for gentle haptic feedback; it can be turned off in the game’s settings.
- Free edition only: internet access and network state, used only to fetch ads.
Deleting your information
Open Settings → Grown-ups → Start over to erase everything the game keeps. Uninstalling the game also erases it. We hold no information about you to delete; for information Google’s ads SDK has received, see Google’s policies above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If a future version ever needed to collect any personal information, we would ask for verifiable parental consent first, as the law requires.
